Lorenz was the first Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) in Hong Kong, bringing with him 20 years of practical Agile experience. His roles have included Scrum Master, Product Owner, Developer, and Agile Leaders outside the Scrum Team. In large enterprises, Lorenz led Agile Transformation, forming and sustaining multiple Scrum Teams comprising over 500 developers. Additionally, he co-authored the O'Reilly book, “97 Things Every Engineering Manager Should Know”.

 

Lorenz, with his experience in both startups and Fortune Top 500 companies, has enabled clients from various industries such as Banking, Insurance, Airlines, Logistics, Consultancy, Oil, Media, Technology, Telecom, NGOs, and government agencies to benefit from Agile methodologies. He has trained over 5,200 executives and professionals across 14 regions in the Asia Pacific.

 

With a background in Software Engineering, Lorenz has broadened the application of Scrum to non-software areas such as non-IT finance, insurance products, data science, investment, infrastructure, marketing, social work, and initiatives combating climate change. Dedicated to his mission, Lorenz continues to champion Scrum in Hong Kong, assisting organizations and teams in delivering value to their customers.
